Middle of the Week

Middle of the Week

This week finds me...

...fulfilling my New Year's resolution of getting up with Cory before the kids wake up.

...wishing my daughter's early morning hearing wasn't so keen. She's now getting up earlier too (as it goes).

...debating which project to focus my energy on next. I have fabric, a little knitting- but nothing's captured my imagination this week.

...knowing that the kid's Christmas stockings should be next if they're going to become Valentine's day stockings.

...nervous about getting started. I want to quilt them, which is a bit out of my comfort zone.

...thrilled with this dessert last night. It came out intact (whew!)- and who can resist jello?

...wondering what other color combinations would taste yummy...

...dreaming of some design-your-own car activities to go along with this new favorite children's book.

...looking forward to packing the play tent with blankets and snuggling with up with books and kiddos on this snowy day.

Wishing you warmth wherever this finds you!

    1. They did! We have a few that like to bed in the woods right outside our upstairs window so we get to see them a lot. And I decided to turn off G+ comments because I missed being able to find the new comments easily, as on the original Blogger platform.

  2. By the way, I noticed you don't have G+ comments enabled currently. Is there a reason? I've been debating switching my commenting system to something other than the Blogger platform but I'm scared of losing past comments, etc.

  3. Cassidy I love this sketch! Brought a smile to me. Your kids will treasure and admire these little pieces of art some day looking back too.

    1. Goodies are goodies right? Maybe it'll be the start of a new family tradition too, you just never know. And thanks for the kind words, drawing is a joy for me- so happy you liked it too!
