create (Mama)

It's been a long month, with our family recycling the same cold over and over again. It's made me anxious for Spring. I finally feel that it's getting closer- the birds are returning and my crocuses are starting to faithfully reveal their little green sprouts. What better way to celebrate the coming of Spring than by sewing some flowers?

These are the better of my first attempts. I have an idea for them... but, as in words of Lewis Carroll, "Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop." So this is only the beginning...

Inspiration found here, here, and here.

Her best parenting advice: You should never give kids more water or glitter than you're willing to clean up! You can read more about their learning adventures at Freshly Planted.com
